HOW TO CARE FOR LIGHTWEIGHT RAIN SHELLS AND OUTERWEAR
Lightweight wind shells and rain shells are easy to care for. Unlike some fabrics that use a durable water repellent (DWR) finish, Pertex fabrics perform based on the engineering of the tight knit wovens.
To extend the life of these products do the following:
- Spot clean as necessary
- Air dry after use
- Reduce wash cycles
- Machine wash with like colors
- If possible, use Sport Wash® which avoids clogging the pores of performance fabrics
- Line dry, or tumble dry low without fabric softeners
